Amazing food, and amazing service!
Highly recommend to everyone looking for a quick bite... -

A fast-food style spot that serves Istanbul cuisine with to-go dishes such as gozleme, kir pidesi, and cig kofte! I chose a kir pidesi, which is pita dough molded to resemble an elongated pizza and filled with toppings.
-----
Chicken Kir Pidesi: chicken, tomato, red and green pepper, scallion, parsley, garlic powder, light chili powder. Comes with a cup of yogurt sauce and a packet of hot sauce ($11).
-----
The dough had a crisp outside texture and I was fond of how the yogurt sauce complimented the filling. It might not be enough to count as a meal, but it's a good amount for its price.
I did have to wait awhile despite being the only customer, but at least the outside seating next to the flowers and little fountains was relaxing. -

I've walked by this place a hundred times and never gave it a second glance - likely because it's a small little window of a shop situated right outside the Macy's in Bellevue Square that's easy to overlook. That's too bad because I was missing out!
Never having tried Turkish food before, I opted for the familiar - a Potato Gozleme, which is smashed potatoes rolled up in a crepe-like dough. The potatoes weren't mashed and blended; there was still some texture to them, although they were cooked to softness (not crispy) and more smashed (not cubed). They were seasoned very well and salted just enough, and they came with something like a Tzatziki or ranch-style sauce for dipping that added a refreshing burst of dill and creaminess.
My friend had the Chicken Kir Pidesi and it was equally tasty, with an added blend of spices that punched up the flavor. It also came with the same sauce.
I think my ideal lunch would be a half Chicken Kir Pidesi and a half Potato Gozleme because I'm not sure I could decide a favorite between the two.
It's also worth mentioning that for the little operation that it is, the service was top-notch. We asked about the differences between Kir Pidesi and Gozleme and they were happy to explain and patient while we made our decisions. There are a handful of tables in front of the place, and the person who took our orders even brought our food out to us. Not sure if that always happens - they weren't quite slammed with a lunch rush yet - nevertheless, it was a nice touch.
I'll definitely be back, and will probably try a dessert, too, because they looked so good! -

Ordered delivery. They charge twelve dollars for two soups. Called twice, no soup, no money back. Delivery via Grub hub on Oct 11.

Ate the Potato Gozleme, which was delicious! Apparently, the difference between the Gozleme and the Kir Pidesi is that the Kir Pidesi has tomatoes on it. The Potato Gozleme was a thin tortilla with mashed potato with Eastern Asian spices, with cilantro and green onions, rolled. Served with a side of yoghurt sauce.
